E-Spring, a corporate finance advisory firm dedicated to mid-cap companies, is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of Boucart Medical to Albyn Medical.
Albyn Medical S.L., part of Creo Medical Group plc, has acquired Boucart Medical, the largest independent supplier of gastrointestinal (“GI”) endoscopy consumables in Belgium and Luxembourg. This transaction allows Albyn Medical to extend its European footprint.
With this operation, Boucart Medical will benefit from the commercial and distribution platform of Albyn Medical to better serve its customers. Brigitte Boucart, CEO of Boucart Medical, commented: “I am delighted to pass on the baton to Luis Collantes, CEO of Albyn Medical. I know Albyn Medical for years and I am sure that the company is in good hands. Boucart and Albyn have a lot in common with a clear focus on customer’s needs.”
Following this acquisition, Albyn Medical now has a direct sales presence in the key markets of Spain, France, German, the UK, the USA, Belgium and Luxembourg providing Creo with a strong commercial platform to facilitate the roll-out of its full suite of CE marked GI advanced energy devices. Boucart Medical worked with the law firm Simont Braun (M. Axel Maeterlinck) for legal and contractual aspects.
